PESO: Chicago - Central Camera
I had an absolute blast last week in Chicago! Huge thanks to Mark and Christine for all their hard work and dedication to make the exhibit a reality. So good to meet you PDML'ers that were there. You all are an awesome group of very talented folks. I haven't had much time to process many of the images I had taken, but here is one. Hope too many aren't anti-HDR because that is what I'm into these days. I'll be posting some more shots and thoughts from the trip this weekend. Re: Anyone in the SF Bay Area got an ultrawide in K-mount?

I've got the DA* 16-45 (and the 10-17 fisheye zoom), but I'd really prefer to use a rectilinear ultrawide. Does anyone in the area have anything like the Pentax 12-24 or the Sigma 10-20 that I could use on Sunday or Monday? -- Hey John, If you can't find a loaner maybe you could shoot with the fisheye and download the Photoshop CS5 demo. The lens correction tool looks pretty good and someone has posted a profile for the 10-17: http://attilaacs.wordpress.com/category/goodies/ Hope this helps, JayT -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

You're lucky to be there so early and have time to roam around. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the weather for the weekend too. Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the gang on Friday.
