I have friend who's deeply into Canon (40D, 5D and L glass) and he's
looking at 645D like he wanted to eat it.
If all goes well, 645D will be his end of the year.

Not bad from Pentax, attracting Canon guys :)

Some places.

For some reason their U.S. subsidiary that was importing them to the
U.S. so that they'd pass the EPA has gone off line. It's kind of a pain
to bring one into the U.S. otherwise.

I did see a MG-F in the U.S. once.

Belonged to a R.N. guy who was assigned as liason at Atlantic Fleet
headquarters in Norfolk, VA and they let him bring his car over with him

Well it is an example of you being out of touch but...

Isn't Lisa his SO?

Prices are (body only)...

$10k for the US.
£9k for the UK.

Seems the Brits are getting the expensive end of the stick again--£9k
today is a little over $14k. Anyone who wants to spend a night on the
couch on their way to pick up a US 645D can do so  :-)

Mark, when are you placing your preorder?

Jostein, what about you?

The amount of fuss we're seeing on the Lisa (IOW, none at all) is
pretty much what I'd expect regarding a $10,000 medium format camera.

Nope, It will cost 9,995 euros ($13,416) with either an 80mm prime
lens or a CF-mount lens adapter to use existing Hasselblad optics.
