I've been doing a different sort of test with my ist-D. Since I got it, I have been using it when I've had the chance. Sometimes I'll slowly stalk a tree or flower bed, carefully taking one or two shots. Other times I'll get engrossed with a single flower or leaf and rapidly fire off several shots with small variations in composition. I have not paid any attention to the camera limitations. It turns on, it focuses, it shoots when I push the button, it does not get in my way. It is just there available for me to use as I want to. I guess I used film too long, film that I had to pay for myself, to be comfortable even thinking about a high enough frame rate to challenge the limitations of the type yu'al are discussions. Stan
