Re: F*300mm f4.5 in Natl Geographic
It seems as though Steve Winter, a photographer for Natl. Geographic, has a Pentax F*300mm f4.5 mounted to an unknown(I can't tell what it is anyway) body in the July 2002 Natl. Geographic. No he doesn't. It's a Canon zoom lens. Most likely the 70-210/2.8 L-lens. Pål

Darn. Wrong again. I looked at it long and hard and even compared it to Boz's pics. Guess I need a magnifying glass. F*300mm f4.5 in Natl Geographic
Just a bit of trivia to those interested in this sort of thing. It seems as though Steve Winter, a photographer for Natl. Geographic, has a Pentax F*300mm f4.5 mounted to an unknown(I can't tell what it is anyway) body in the July 2002 Natl. Geographic. It is a pic in the Behind the Scenes section. The title of the article is Curious as Cats about tracking jaguars in Belize with researcher Carolyn Miller. Nice to see a Pentax at work in a magazine heavy with Canon and Nikon advertisements.
