FS: 2 Pentax Spotmeters: regular digital
Hi, everyone. It's been a while since I've written to the list, but I browse through every now and then when I can make time. I have two Pentax Spotmeters I'm looking to sell: Analogue: $160 US plus shipping. Includes hand strap Digital: $270 US plus shipping. Includes case, hand strap and lens cap Both meters show light cosmetic wear, but both work perfectly. Neither is Zone VI modified. PayPal or cash (registered envelope recommended) preferred, but will accept personal cheque (Canadian PDMLers only please) or money order from list oldtimers. First come, first served! Thanks, Chris
FS: 2 FA zooms, 28-105 and 100-300
For sale: Pentax SMC-FA 28-105mm f/4-5.6 IF zoom (black) This is the (Tamron?) rebadged Pentax zoom that replaced the FA power zoom in the late '90s. It looks much nicer in black than the common silver/black it came in. While it doesn't have the stellar reputation of the power zoom and may not be as good as the current 28-105, it performs very nicely, is compact, and even though it features the extending-barrel IF design, it feels a bit sturdier than the current version of the 28-105 zoom. Includes original Pentax caps and tulip hood that bayonets on. Filter size is 62mm. See Boz's page on this lens: http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/lenses/zooms/short/FA28-105f4-5.6-ii.html Click black to see the all-black version. Excellent-plus condition. $90, includes shipping in the continental U.S. - For sale: Pentax SMC-FA 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6, EX+ condition. This is the power zoom version of this lens, and it's quite sturdy. It doesn't extend when zooming, so it doesn't have that extended flimsy feel at the long end that many of the newer zooms do. Here's Boz's page on the lens: http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/lenses/zooms/long/FA100-300f4.5-5.6.html Includes original front and rear caps. Excellent-plus condition. $80 includes shipping in the continental U.S. Images of the actual lens for sale: http://homepage.mac.com/wilensky/eBay/100-300pz.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/wilensky/eBay/100-300pz_front.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/wilensky/eBay/100-300pz_mount.jpg Joe -- Joe Wilensky Editor, Cornell Chronicle Cornell News Office 312 College Ave. Ithaca, NY 14850 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (607) 255-3630 phone/voice mail (607) 255-5373 fax http://www.news.cornell.edu/Chronicle/Chronicle.html
FS: 2 *VERY* Nice MXen need a good home.
I want to offer these to the PDML members first since I know they will be appreciated here. These are 2 MX's in perfect working order. Everything is accurate as far as my ears and eyes can tell, though they haven't been tested on a machine for accuracy. The first one is absolutely beautiful, a few light brights and a few small nicks on the prism housing are the worst flaws it has. The second is almost as good, it has a few very small nicks and scratches and a small 'oops' scratch on the advance lever cap but is still gorgeous. Paint is nearly 100% on the first and 95+ on the second. I have two bargain condition MX's that I use a lot. (OK, one's actually 'Ugly' condition.) I haven't had the heart to take these out and get them scuffed up. I'll leave that to someone else! ;-) I'll list these Sunday at $125 and $100 respectively. You folks get first shot, I'll entertain offers, but only fairly reasonable ones. These photos have had levels adjusted and been sharpened. No 'dust removal' or any other manipulation has been used to hide flaws or 'trump up' the looks. They are both exceptional examples. Here they are: http://www.donsauction.com/ebay/2MXen.htm Don (Who would *really* like them to find a good home.) BTW: The camera was the ist-D with the Sigma EX 50/2.8 macro.
FS: 2 Sunpak 611 packages
2 working units with brackets 3 (maybe 4, I don't recall for certain) nicad packs 2 chargers 2 household slaves 2 shoe sensors with PC cords 8 C-cell NiMH cells several sync cords The nicad packs need the sub-c cells replaced. But these are not only cheap, but I've seen sub-C NiMH cells @ electronics meets, so you could get even more out of them. Because of this I'm including 8 C NiMH cells. Just add charger. Lots of power. Flashes DO work in fractional power modes. Shows use but not abuse. PDML Price: $90 for 1/2 of the stuff or $175 for all. Reason for selling? I really don't have any need for them any longer and would rather put the money into a monolight. There's this sexy little JTL 300 Mobilight with battery for that I'd like to get. Collin
FS: 2 bw enlargers
Two bw enlargers. I'm getting a newer one so these older ones need to clear out. #1 Dejur Versatile Professional. c. 1948 4x5. Has alignment issues. Requires futzing for a squared-up print. Fabricated Metal construction. (not cast aluminum) #2 (forgot the name) made in Czechoslovakia. age unknown. Slightly small than 4x5. Opening is large enough but condensors are not. Good alignment. Fabricated Metal construction. (not cast aluminum) No lenses. They're $15 each + actual shipping. Expect around $20. You can save money by not getting the baseboards shipped picking up some plywood yourself. Collin
Re: FS: 2 MX's
I'm interested, how much are you asking? TIA! Nick -- From: Bruce Dayton [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: FS: 2 MX's Date: Fri, Oct 19, 2001, 3:21 PM I have finally decided to find a good home for my 2 MX's. I just am not giving them any workout and thought perhaps someone else might be able to utilize them. They were both CLA'd about a year ago and have had the shutter speeds exercised monthly. Probably only about 5 rolls run through each since the CLA. There is no pressing need to sell them, so I hope to find someone that would really benefit. The price is negotiable, but will be very reasonable. If anyone has an interest, let me know. Thanks, Bruce Dayton Sacramento, CA - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
