Enjoyed seeing these, Matthew. The Heron/Egret in the foreground and the soft

Just some quick shots in the middle of vacation...
lighthouse-at-sunset type stuff.  I'm without my usual software and
working on a pretty poor laptop monitor, but trying to get something
out.

I've rented a Pentax 12-24/4 for the trip.  It's a blast and lots of
fun, and optically it seems good enough, but not perfect.  Again I
haven't looked in great detail, but it seems like there's some visible
CA that I'll try to correct later, and textures are not as well
defined as they would be on an excellent lens.  The challenges of the
focal length have to be kept in mind, I suppose.
