Dear Paul! I am sorry to hear of your loss. 92 years is a very nice age and with a son like you, she surely had a wonderful life in a loving and caring family (isn't it what we all hoping for?). Your photos are a great tribute to her and will be a great memory to all of your family. My brother left us almost 3 years ago (he was only 43 years old) and I wished if I would make more pictures of him. My condolences, Paul. 92 is a good age to reach but it's no less painful when a loved one passes. My mother reached 93 and would probably still be with us had she not suffered a couple of falls. I'm sure the photos you have of your mother will be greatly appreciated by Grace as she remembers the time they had together. The death of a parent is not easy to accept, even when it's plain that their time is up. As the others have said, you were blessed to have your mother with you during the last years of her life, and she was fortunate to pass quietly. Her interaction with Grace was something special (I loved the third photo where Grace is hugging grandma's knee), and I'm sure that your photos will become very meaningful to Grace when she is an adult with kids of her own. My mother fell asleep while watching television this morning and never woke up. She was 92 years old and passed without pain or suffering. Paul, I am so sorry. I know it hurts. My mother died 2-1/2 years ago, my father last August, and a close uncle in January. They were all hard even though we knew the deaths were coming. I understand what you are going through. Only time makes it a little better--gradually. You will get together with family, and that makes it a little better too.
