Re: Need Repair Advice for my F 100/2.8 Macro
Eric has done CLA's for me on everything film, from K's, Spotmatics, KX's, MX's and screwmount, K-mount, and KA lenses. Results were excellent and dependable plus fairly priced. Regards, Bob S. Re: Need Repair Advice for my F 100/2.8 Macro
I've just got back my F 70-210mm from him. I've sent a number of lenses to him, anything I expect that Pentax no longer repairs, and I believe that the F 100mm is one of those lenses. If parts aren't available CRIS won't even try to fix it. I'll be posting a few shots I took with the 70-210 today, well yesterday now, it's not 100%, more like 99%, it auto focuses and zooms smoothly. The images are pretty sharp, maybe not as sharp as it was when I first got it, but this is the second copy of this particular lens that I've owned and it has never been as sharp as the first copy was, which may color my judgement.
