Re: OT: Bad old printer wanted!

2013-02-05 Thread Ann Sanfedele

Amazing!
I actually remebered where I put it!

It is a NEC pinwriter P6 - there are a few on ebay now in various stages
of disrepair. but you can see the info on it.

It weighs a ton - It worked when I put it away years ago but I have no
idea if it still does and don't have a way to check it out.

I would sell it AS IS for $25.00 plus shipping the lowest price on
ebay for parts is $69. (at least, when I looked just now)

Forgot where you are - shipping might be lots I can barely lift the
thing figure it must weigh at least 20 lbs.

Ah there you are!
I thought you had found one elsewhere..

If I still have it (I THINK i do) it' is buried in a cluttered closet
and company coming tomorrow -
it is/was a NEC pinfeed printer from the early 80's but yes, that is a
dot matrix printer

I want to use this for experimenting with artistic macro enlargements.

At work we had a printer like this 20 or 25 years ago.
Dont remember the brand or if it was laser or ink technoloogy.
Where would I find a printer like that.

Any helpful hints will be greatly appreciated.
