Very nicely done. The bird is well captured and I like the ruffled 
feathers. The circular ripple in the water on the left side is also nice 
- just a little something to put some energy into the space there. Well 
timed capture.

PESO: Great Blue Heron

both are nice but I would clone those OOF brown leaves at top third of
way from left - content aware fill should do this nicely.  I would be
tempted to do the same for the other brown leaves centre right.  The
green ones don't bother me.

No Camo gear.
Ding Darling is a special preserve on Sanibel Island in Florida.
We've visited 2 or 3 times and this time was very good.
Last time we visited later in spring and the "no see 'em" bugs were out biting.
I'd recommend a visit if you ever go east.

exposing anything correctly on the K10D, but it worked

Yeah, I agree that the bokeh is not the best. It would
have been better without the teleconverter but I
needed one to get in close.
