Nice one, cute and fluffy. There's almost too little space around the little

Thanks, Ann!

That faux-Godders shot was one I took while I was out shooting with Ted
Beilby in NW Arkansas this past fall. I had a great time shooting with
him as well.

Thanks, Kris!

I see what you mean about the lack of space. I was probably a little
zealous with the crop, having taken another look at it. I think it
could at least use a little extra space on the left-hand side.

Excellent. It's hard enough to get a bird that sharp, much less in an
interesting position.

i love the perky, modernist colors, which go well with the bird's
apparent attitude; i too would open up the crop if possible to give a
sense that the bird has somewhere to go; especially open it up if there
is more of that lovely background and more drips on the rail

Good point, Steve... I like the dove too - but would also like to see
more space on the eft, where he/she is heading.

 Thank you, Steven!

That one happened to be one of the more cooperative birds I ever
encountered. I managed to catch him on the wing shortly after this
shot, but the focus failed me, and he had banked himself into a position
where the outline just wasn't very bird-like.

 Thank you, Steve.

And, yes -- there's considerably more background and raindrops on the
rail in the original. I'll re-post the wider crop ASAP -- still working
on some other shots from the trip, amazingly enough.
