Re: PESO: Springtime(?) in Michigan
Sort of pre-Spring like we have here. I like the calm feeling in the photo. pdml-requ...@pdml.net wrote: Message: 7 Date: Sat, 22 Mar 2014 16:07:56 -0400 From: Stanley Halpin To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Subject: PESO: Springtime(?) in Michigan Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252 This morning on the river? Re: PESO: Springtime(?) in Michigan
According to astronomers, it's been spring since just before 1:00pm EDT last Thursday. The weather was spring-LIKE for a couple of days, but it's supposed to go back to crappy weather tomorrow & Tuesday (possible sleet, snow or freezing rain). But, spring is definitely on the way. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Robin Driving home this evening, I saw about a hundred American Robbins on the grassy verge. I'd never seen so many together in one place. They're usually fairly solitary. One will come into the yard while I'm cutting the grass, and if another tries to land, the first one will try to chase him away. I was unfortunately not in a position to pull over and take a photograph, but imagine a stretch of grass alongside the road a hundred feet long by twenty-five feet wide, overlaid with a grid of robins, one every 5 feet.
