RE: PESO: That Wedding I Shot
Thanks for looking. By the way, this was shot with the Pentax 540 flash firing into an omnibounce reflector. Exposure very close to ambient light reading. I believe the shutter speed was 1/30th and the stop was f4. Paul -- Original message -- From: John Sessoms [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: Paul Stenquist I'm still working on processing the pics from that wedding I shot a few weeks ago. More than 500 keepers, so it's a big job. In terms of strict composition and the normal tenets of what makes a wedding pic good, tis is far from the best. But it's my favorite so far. Lots of real love going on here. Paul http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6349996size=lg SHE looks like she's in love with someone ... Nice :) Composition is not easy in weddings, as there is not enought time always. Gasha Paul Stenquist wrote: I'm still working on processing the pics from that wedding I shot a few weeks ago. Re: PESO: That Wedding I Shot
Thanks. You're right. You can't pass up a shot, because it may not last more than a few seconds. I spotted this, raised the camera and fired away. Fill the frame and shoot is my methodology for this sort of thing. That's a very good shot - I particularly like the mother's look that you've caught. I assume it's the mother - she looks so much like the younger woman. -- Bob -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Paul Stenquist Sent: 27 August 2007 01:28 To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Subject: PESO: That Wedding I Shot I'm still working on processing the pics from that wedding I shot a few weeks ago.
