PSE10, convert to BW.
Sky was a deep blue and I really prefer this sky for contrast with the shed.
Chose
dramatic landscape conversion.

Thanks for commenting, Aahz.

I know I wanted to comment on the colour version of this one because I liked it
a great deal. I don't remember if I ever got around to it.

When I saw this post I thought, Oh no, a black and white conversion will never
eclipse the original!

But I was wrong.

Your conversion is brilliant, Jack! That dark sky and the beautiful greys of
that metal shed really make this special!

A wonderful photo just got.better...

I prefer the BW also. Well done!
Looks a bit off kilter to my eye. Needs a fraction of a degree of
image rotation and then a slight crop, I believe.

Yep.
.75 degree of image rotation clockwise does the trick.

0.75 degrees is exactly right, Darren. Thanks!
I initially checked the level and made a small correction (didn't use a tripod,
so no leveler applied) by attempting to level the base of the shed. I couldn't
see through that left end bush, but guess I didn't consider that necessary.

Yeah, I think the BW has more impact and the green panel in the wall
is less distracting. The BW also enhances the cloud patterns which
are barely discernible in the colour version.
