the tokina was my lens. not anymore, not for the last one year or so
:). it is a sharp lens and the AF is lightning fast compared with my
sigma 150-500 OS HSM. it works well with the tamron 1.4 tc and in fact
adit never takes it off when using the tokina. it has its downsides of
course but nothing that cannot be taken care of in post...

Great shot. I am a fan of the Tokina SD 400 f5.6 on APS-C bodies but 
never used it with a teleconverter. Looks like the combo worked well.
