Did you lose power, Bruce? We were fine in New Toronto. Hope your dad is okay. That's a beautiful photo. Yup, the light is amazing. Along with great composition. Got out for a few shots but haven't processed any yet (except one taken on phone). Might post a few tonight. A dangerous but spectacular day. Re: PESO - Iced Purple Sand Cherry
We had a few power blips here in east Mississauga, Frank, but thankfully remained lit-up. My sister's place in Eatonville and my Dad's place in Richview -- both north of you in Etobicoke -- lost power until early this morning. Dad's okay. In fact he went from near panic in his cold dark house to quite enjoying himself at my place. He doesn't like to leave his house and hadn't been to our place in years, but he was delighted to be fussed over. Gandalf the Russian Blue adopted him and wouldn't leave his side. :-) We delivered him home again a couple of hours ago. Thank you very much Frank. Looking forward to seeing your take on Icemageddon. ;-) On Mon, Dec 23, 2013 at 5:44 AM, knarf knarftheria...@gmail.com wrote: Did you lose power, Bruce? We were fine in New Toronto. Re: PESO - Iced Purple Sand Cherry
I spent some time visualizing this one before I went outside. I needed a well-formed branch that was low enough that I could stand a black reflector behind it. I used the same basic light as your crystal glass except the overcast, drizzling sky was my softbox. I hope my stand and reflector turn out to be waterproof after all. :-/ Thanks!
