Thanks for the feedback.  The ultimate goal of this shoot was a cover 
for her next album.  I tried to get a variety of styles to give her more 
to choose from.




I'm with Rick on 1 and 4 especially... It is hard to highlight which
ones I like on flicker because I can't cut and paste the numbers
and I can't remember what they are...

If she sings half as good as she looks she should be making a
comfortable income :-)

For what it's worth, the cover of "shake it up" is one that I took at 
Don Quixote's in Felton several years ago.  There are many, many 
technical problems with that photo, but she really liked it.

Thanks.   It's particularly nice to hear about my more recent work because that 
might mean I'm learning.  Either that or the lighting at Don Quixote's doesn't

 This was shot from the back of the room with the A* 200/2.8 on a
 monopod using the K-x, ISO 1600 f/4.5 1/40. I brought the color in
 about as close as I could, but the red lights were very heavy.
 
 The guy there with the Canon 5D ended up shooting with flash towards
 the end of the evening rather than shooting at 1600. I haven't seen his
 photos yet, but it'll be interesting to see how the K-x compares.  If
 you look at the set, the *LRC* shots were K20, the *IMGP* shots were K-
 x.

I'd put money on your non-flash ones being better...

This was shot from the back of the room with the A* 200/2.8 on a monopod using 
the K-x, ISO 1600 f/4.5 1/40. I brought the color in about as close as I could, 
but the red lights were very heavy.

The guy there with the Canon 5D ended up shooting with flash towards the end of 
the evening rather than shooting at 1600. I haven't seen his photos yet, but 
it'll be interesting to see how the K-x compares.  If you look at the set, the 
*LRC* shots were K20, the *IMGP* shots were K-x.
