FS: Pentax SMC-M 35mm f/2.0 lens
I finally, finally found an A series 35mm f/2 lens on eBay, so I'm putting my M series one up for sale. I originally purchased it in bargain condition from KEH, which as usual means the glass is beautiful and there's only a bit of visible external wear on the sharp edges of the lens barrel (aperture ring, etc.). Includes front and rear caps. A beautiful compact lens that gives you all the speed you need for available light shooting! $125 plus shipping. I re-homed my A28/2 and A35/2 lenses after I purchased my 31LTD, even though I really enjoyed shooting with both of them. The 31 is a superb performer but it is a bit large when you are used to the A35/2 but I don't really miss it like I do the A28/2. Interesting. Maybe I got a really good deal. I got my A35/2 on eBay a couple of months ago bundled with the M75-150 for $165. I got to compare (C41) the K30/2.8 & A35/2 @ "The Jake" last weekend and on a brother's farm in Wisconsin the week before. The regular 4x6 prints from both were better than the F50/1.7 (which is not a bad lens at all. But the K30 & A35/2 were noticeably sharper in the center and equivalent @ the edges. Of course the A100/2.8 is always outstanding. The M75-150 is a bit of an anomaly. It seems to perform well at some lengths and apertures and very poorly at others. I'm going to have to put it through the wringer and see how it is generally across the spectrum. Collin (The Cubs ain't doin' so well this year. But still better than usual.) Brendemuehl

Gore and blimey, now I really feel bad about being poor. That used to be my favorite lens when I had one. You don't often find one at this price. I wish... -- Joe Wilensky wrote: I finally, finally found an A series 35mm f/2 lens on eBay, so I'm putting my M series one up for sale.
