Excellent use of HDR. I recently was shooting a Grotto very like your
subject midday and HDR saved some very tough exposures. I also love the
wide angle view.

It would be interesting to compare with hwat you could get out of a
single exposure.

It's obviously very harsh lighting, even after you worked on it
it still looks a bit contrasty.
I wonder how it would look in black and white with a yellow or red
filter effect, to darken the sky and vegetation.

It's in Porto Venere, if anyone's interested.

Venuses port?

Still looks a bit HDRish, kind of stark tone-mapping. I like HDR when
you can't see that it's HDR.

On my screen, the contrast is too high, exemplified by the rock wall in full
sunlight on the right (makes my eyes water) and the rock wall in full shade
with the white (paper) highlights. You need to wipe them both with the lower
contrast brush which must be available somewhere in your pixel toolbox(s).

An amazing image. Hard to believe it is a shopping mall.

Subject: Photo from Italy

I've been back from Italy for over a week and haven't posted any
photos. Until now. I'm keeping very busy with my Photoshop book but I
had to make time for at least one image from Italy.

This is in Milan. I forget what the magnificent building used to be
used for but now it's a high end shopping area (the store in the
center is Prada). When I entered the place I thought this is like
being inside an HDR photo! So I thought WTF, let's do HDR. I
deliberately *didn't* use the de-ghosting feature of Merge to HDR.
