Pop Photo's Mike McNamara takes a swing at Nikon (popphoto.com) for not making the Nikon D40 backwards compatible with older Nikkor lenses. He finishes by saying: " But something doesn't feel right about a new DSLR that can't autofocus at any light level with a trusty Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D, or even the expensive, digital-only, Nikkor fisheye 10.5mm f/2.8G ED AF DX lens. What were they thinking?"
