Very nice shot.

Did you have to use any noise reduction or is this WYSIWYG

It's getting cold at last, over here. A mere three degrees above
freezing, biting cold, gusty wind, but what a wonderful December sky,
about 20 minutes after sunset. Distance between the foreground and the
cooling towers in the far background about 30 km (20 miles).

 K10D with the SMC-M 4/200 mm at ISO 100, 8 sec at f8.

No noise reduction. Just a little prodding of the tone curves and some
sharpening after resizing.

Thanks, good to know.

Its a really dull day here, and i'll test my K10D with higher iso's
and SR etc with my longer lenses.

I have a 300 and a 400.

Hi Ralf,

looks like good old M200 is more than usable on digital, that's good news.

So what you've been listening to this time? ;-)

Cheers,

The whistling of a biting cold wind. Those music sessions only happen
during shots with one of my panoramic and their duration of one or two
hours. Dashing inside the car for a mere 8 seconds of music goes way
beyond my natural phlegma. :-)
