The P950 is a little soft at the max zoom probably because of
diffraction. Topaz Sharpen AI can handle that. A bigger problem is
wind, it's challenging to hold the P950 stable. It's all forgiven
because of the low weight and compactness. That said I much prefer the
image quality of the DA300 1.4TC and it leaves room for cropping which
is a no go on the small noisy 950 files.

wow - great album!
Looking forward to the captions so I know who is who..
The fella eating the bug is especially fun because his beak holding the 
bug mimics his claws on the wire..
My favorite bird is the little guy with the yellow belly.. with is belly 
feathers blowing  and the still one as well.

(not necessarily favorite photo.. but lovely bird)

I recognize a couple of the larger birds but not all..  where did you go?

WOW!  Those images are truly extraordinary!  Your "short holiday" was
certainly time well spent.

My favorite is IMG5578.jpg.  It is a fine portrait of that sparrow (?), but
catching him on that thin string and sitting there so proudly with his
insect catch in his mouth makes it special indeed.
