I agree with Paul... and I generally am not much interested in glamour
shots at all... But this has all the right elements, including a model
who knows what actually she is doing... You couldn't have gotten the
shot with just any pretty face - and to manage that pose and make it
look comfortable is no mean feat.

One nit - the little tiny ripples on the top of her jeans on one leg...
looks like something you could smooth out.

The light is, I think, on the harsh side. It shows in the shadows of the
hair, blown cheek, hard shadow on her leg and wrist, etc.
This may be what you were going for, in case we merely disagree on how
to light this sort of thing.

What I like to do is use a really big softbox for the main, my favourite
is a 60 round one, and then position a harder light right in front of
it so it is on, or at least near, the same axis as the big light.
Adjusting the balance between the two gives really nice shadow control.
You blew the background out really nicely, it looks like she is on a
rear lit Plexiglas sweep., which are a lot of fun to light with gels.

Harsh light strong shadows seem to be all the rage.

I will have to give that lighting set-up a try sounds very cool.

This was shot a a simple seamless paper backdrop with 2 heads to blow
it about 1.5 stops over the main light.

Thanks for the comments. Always appreciated from a dab hand such as yourself.
