Excellent candid portrait, Paul! I really like the look of cool focus on her task. You've managed to get her in very good light there, in a place where unflattering hard uplight is common. The K-3 really shines in this kind of work. Wonderful portrait and, for someone still shooting with an *istDs, a pretty stunning example of quality at 12,800. (I believe there's a K-3 in my future.) That's a lovely portrait, Paul. I find that fluorescent light to be very harsh and distracting. Any way it could be burned? Maybe you want it in there as part of the story but I might want to crop it out all together. Definitely a photo worth saving imho. Re: PESO Pool Hall Portrait/K-3 low-light work
Thanks Frank. It’s not a fluorescent light. It’s the incandescent pool table light, but it’s out of range and burned out. I could easily clone it out, but I like it. I think it keeps this from being just another portrait. Paul On Feb 20, 2014, at 12:20 PM, knarf knarftheria...@gmail.com wrote: That's a lovely portrait, Paul.
