More recent laptops have USB3. I think even the refurbished HP laptop I bought a year or so ago has them (don't have time to verify that right now, but I think it's true). On 9/20/2018 17:14, P. J. Sadly my Acer Travelmate 5744 Laptop has no PCI Express port so an upgrade to USB3 is impossible. I realize I need a new laptop but that's an expensive business in SA today.
