Mark,

Thanks, that is useful information.

I've used those 4 programs over the past ~15+ years, but had not known it.
I must be slow. ;-)

That's a common capability that is used with virtually all of Adobe's

everything Adobe makes as far as I know.

Re: a tiny LR discovery

2016-11-11 Thread Igor PDML-StR

Thank you, Alastair, that's a useful link.
There used to be "templates" for the keyboards for (IIRC) MS-Word,
AutoCAD, WordPerfect (remember that? ;-) ). Not that I used them, but
looking once or twice at them was useful to pick some helpful shortcuts.

Ctrl-/ -- that's an "easter egg"! Thanks for that!
Actually, that list for the Library module seems to be missing one
shortcut that I like using: Ctrl-Shift-F.

Googling shortcuts, I've found this "official" table from Adobe:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/keyboard-shortcuts.html
And also, this website has PDF summary of the shortcuts (for each Windows
and Mac separately):

http://www.lightroomqueen.com/keyboard-shortcuts/lr5/

James: Yes, I have been aware of Alt-sliders for a few years. Actually
someone on this list had mentioned it to me - for sharpening radius, and
then I figured out that it works wonders for a few other sliders.
