istDS and K100D (pentaprism and pentamirror)
Hi all, I feel that i can now afford a DSLR. Mostly for snapshots together with P645. So one option is to get used istDS for a good price (someone will upgrade to K100D/K10D). I will get penta-prism viewfinder. Second option is K100D. Price for new body is acceptable. I will get warranty and anti-shake. Did anyone compare viewfinders for those 2 cameras? Gasha The DS is bigger and easier to manually focus, the K100D is brighter. I've owned both the D (Same finder as DS) and now own the K100D. The combination of faster AF and Anti-Shake makes up for the smaller buffer, somewhat lighter build and the finder downgrade. -Adam -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net

Errr, I only have manual-focus lenses. But that anti-shake feature definitely is worth the money. Especially for portraits in low light situations.
