Re: [peirce-l] A Philosopher's Petition

2012-02-11 Thread Robert Eckert
Last post regarding this.

The Tillman story is well told in this interview. The Tillman family has
repeatedly admonished those in power to return his son's journal. That is the
very least the [explitives deleted] can do.

Thank you.

It has been pointed out to me, and I apologize for my presumption here again,
that not everyone on the list is even in America or aware of these issues. The
following link should give the list members ome idea of what is motivating me.

But, I am not the first philosopher to put everything aside to become a

Peirce had many friends who did so.

Now I need your help.

The journals of the murdered Soldiers PVT Danny Chen and CPL Pat Tillman need
to be returned to their families. My level of disgust with the decision makers
in the US Army regarding this issue could not possibly be overstated.

How dare they?

Please go to http://www.change.org/petitions/return-the-journals and help me

I have often thought his 'Amazing Mazes' would make great posters. Wonder if
Harvard would ever consider that?

[peirce-l] The Pragmatic Party

Not sure what form a party based on a method rather than a set of axioms would
look like, but given the current state of foolishness in American
politics, we obviously can do worse.
