https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2134212 --- Comment #4 from Paul Howarth --- OK, we'll use 1. until the major version number gets bumped to more than 1. Something similar is done in the perl-Test-Differences package, for the same reason: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/perl-Test-Differences/blob/rawhide/f/perl-Test-Differences.spec I too use perl-Finance-Quote mainly via gnucash though I have another script that I run to download values periodically. I already have commit access, which is fine for me, though if you want to give me the package (FAS: pghmcfc) that is also fine. It's always best to have multiple maintainers anyway. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2134212 ___ perl-devel mailing list -- perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to perl-devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2134212 --- Comment #3 from Gwyn Ciesla --- Interesting. Sorry for the confusion. I guess the former, since the latter might result in needing additional epochs in the future. I only took ownership of this pacakage to facilitate the Gnucash stack. If you'd like to take it over, that would be fine with me.
[Bug 2134212] perl-Finance-Quote-1.5301 is available
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2134212 --- Comment #2 from Paul Howarth --- Hi Gwyn, I was going to close this WONTFIX because the only change between 1.53 and 1.5301 is the addition of an explicit dependency on LWP::Protocol::https but we have that in our downstream packaging already. Moreover, the 1.5301 version number will mean that when 1.54 comes out, we'll need to either call it 1.5400 for RPM versioning or we'll need to add an epoch. Which would be your preference?
