You are going to be more specific about what you mean about Postgres 9.5
enterprise. Where did you get it?

Also what do you mean by move it?

Complete upgrade.

[pgadmin-support] No editing capabilities on PgAdmin 4.1/Windows

2017-01-19 Thread DeepButi
After years of using PgAdmin III on a Unix system with great satisfaction, we
just switched to PgAdmin4 on a Windows system.

PgAdmin installed and runs smoothly, but there is no editing commands at all
and none of the editing shortcuts work on the Query Tool. No find (CTRL-F),
substitute, find next etc etc. Is this the expected behaviour?

According to https://www.pgadmin.org/docs4/1.x/keyboard_shortcuts.html there
should be editing capabilities but the on-line documentation doesn't show
this shortcuts even if both pages refer to 4.1.1

Is there any configuration file that should be modified?

[pgadmin-support] Errors not detected on PgAdmin4

2017-01-19 Thread DeepButi
Just installed PgAdmin4 on a Windows system and we get always the same
message for all kinds of errors: syntax errors, data errors (for example
inserting a non allowed null value), whatever.

We always get a

*Not connected to the server or the connection to the server has been
closed.*

A simple "select a from b" for a non-existent table, or anything else that
causes an error. No way to know what is going on.

Any idea?

Re: [pgadmin-support] Server Status

2017-01-19 Thread Fernando
Hi Melvin,

Thanks for your answer and yes I forgot to attach my image,

But I found a solution to my problem,

I changed lc_messages in my postgresql.conf file and it stay like this
lc_messages = 'en_US.UTF-8'

Now is functioning.

Thank you!

Fernando

I am not PgAdmin III support, but please note that the latest version is
PgAdmin III 1.22.0.

Try downloading and installing that version amd see if it helps.
