Hi Chris, Tried it and I get LINE 1: SELECT * FROM s WHERE soundex(nm) = soundex('john'); HINT: No function matches the given name and argument types. You might need to add explicit type casts. yet the data type of the nm is text. I am using 8.3.1. Anything am doing wrong?
