[HACKERS] ts_headline() dumps core

2008-01-15 Thread Yoshiyuki Asaba
Hi,

I found a bug in ts_headline(). Here is a reproducible sql.

-- sql ---
SELECT substring(version(), 0, 20);
CREATE TEXT SEARCH PARSER dummy_parser (
START = prsd_start,
GETTOKEN = prsd_nexttoken,
END = prsd_end,

--
--  HEADLINE = prsd_headline,
--

LEXTYPES = prsd_lextype
);
CREATE TEXT SEARCH CONFIGURATION pg_catalog.dummy (PARSER = dummy_parser);
SELECT ts_headline('dummy', 'test', 'test'::tsquery);
--

-- result --
  substring
-
 PostgreSQL 8.3RC1 o
(1 row)

CREATE TEXT SEARCH PARSER
CREATE TEXT SEARCH CONFIGURATION
psql:sql:14: server closed the connection unexpectedly
This probably means the server terminated abnormally
before or while processing the request.
psql:sql:14: connection to server was lost

This is the stack trace.
