Re: [Phono-L] Oddball sort of ex-Brunswick crapophone

2010-08-31 Thread Peter Fraser
I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it this morning.

And when I got to that last picture showing the innards, with the legendary
Brunswick ShopVac SoundHose, fastened with the fabled Brunswick AcoustiClamp, I
squirted coffee out my nose.

Both Brunswick and Victor offered odd combos of Radio/Phono using their
portable mechanisms. Neither were very good !

Looks like somebody has been smoking some "bad weed" and decided to create
this mess.
I hope the designer has a sense of humor and no bidder would take his
offer seriously.

[Phono-L] Edison Triumph with repeater

2010-08-31 Thread harvey kravitz
Hi Group,
Last month I bought an Edison Triumph with a repeater. I cleaned it up and it
plays great. I also got the repeater working. I am looking for a couple of
parts
to complete it. I need an original Edison cygnet horn bracket and a brush that
clips on to the carriage. I can't wait to complete the machine.
