[Phono-L] Columbia conversion question re BF to BFT

2013-05-07 Thread Bob Maffit
Phono List:

I recently acquired a Columbia BF and am considering converting it into a
BFT. Apparently, I need a special back bracket, different than a normal
Columbia back bracket, and a telescoping tone arm.

What may I expect to pay for such and am I correct in my plan and assessment
of needed parts.

Does anyone on the list have the parts and may be willing to get rid of
them?

Contact me off list if you have the parts. The response to my question may
be beneficial to others on the list.

Hi Bob,

There was a set recently on eBay for about $400, including back bracket,
arm, and joint. I don't know if it sold. Look under 'closed auctions'.

Good luck,
