[Phono-L] eBay Scam on Victor 6
The completed legit auction, with the same pictures sent to me by the phony seller, is here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1442&item=2242793394 Please everybody stay away from it. I emailed ebay with all the info I had, but looks like they haven't closed it yet. Maybe if more people alerted ebay, they might close this guy down. [Phono-L] Zonophone For Sale
Hello, all. It's time to get rid of a few things, so I am starting off with a Zonophone Parlor Front Mount. This is a nice machine with a supernice decal and original finish. It has a reproduction horn, reproducer, crank, support arm. Price is negotiable with possible trade. I am looking for a large Victor front mount horn. I have the extension arm and long tonearm, but need the right horn. I also need an oak spearip horn for Victor. I will be selling more items soon. Take a look at some sample pics at http://members.aol.com/filerphono/parlor1.jpg http://members.aol.com/filerphono/parlor2.jpg If interested, email for more pictures. It is a Speartip for a Victor then a period and new sentence. I read it the same way at first. - Original Message - From: To: Sent: Monday, April 12, 2004 9:36 AM Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Zonophone For Sale > In a message dated 4/11/2004 10:26:35 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > filerph...@aol.com writes: > > > I also need an oak spearip horn for Victor. [Phono-L] Victor Phonograph For Sale
Hello, list. I am offering a Victor Monarch to the list before I put it on ebay. A picker friend just brought it by this afternoon. It is a nice machine with an older restoration. Original blue Hawthorne & Sheble horn. Some replated parts, but original except crank is missing. I will offer it without horn, if interested. Motor runs smooth, for a bevel gear Victor, and machine is mostly original. To view it, go to members.aol.com/filerphono/monarch1.jpgand members.aol.com/filerphono/monarch2.jpgand members.aol.com/filerphono/monarch3.jpg and members.aol.com/filerphono/monarch4.jpg For more pics and more info, please email me off list at Filerphono at aol.com thanks, Joe Filer
[Phono-L] Johnson Monarch & Victor P pre-ebay sale
Happy New Year to all. I am going to offer to the list a few machines prior to listing them on ebay. First is a nice all original 1901 Eldridge Johnson Monarch. You all know of the unique characteristics of this machine. This is a very nice, all original example with a Concert reproducer (I know that is the first question asked). Price is $2100. The next machine is a sweet little 1903 Victor P. It is the early style cabinet, pre-dog model. The only apology on this machine is a reproduction Concert reproducer, and a re-plated crank (I didn't do it!). Everything else is original and correct. Price is $1300. Email me off list for details and pics. I started to list these tonight, but felt someone here might be interested. I will be at the Orlando show on January 22, so delivery is easy. I will be selling almost all of my collection and parts this year, so stay tuned! Please contact me at filerph...@aol.com. Thanks, Joe Filer
