Yes, Great Guy, he was MR. Victor on the internet and his site gave you a tour of his home in the hills and his fabulous museum collection of mostly top of the line phonographs. He helped me out personally, when I needed an aluminum horn for my Columbia (MacDonald AB), he offered me one of his spare horns at a minimal price, and I still have it and display it with the AB. He also possessed a beautiful mint condition original Complete Eldridge Johnson (Victor)$3.00 Toy Talking Machine which his wife purchased for him as a surprise at one of the phonograph shows awhile back. When I was trying to find what the horn and connecting bracket and reproducer looked like on one of these rarities, he was kind and generous and sent me not only some photos, but also the dimensions. For any of you who have never visited his great Mr. Victor Site I will send you the link in few minutes. As Barry said, he helped out so many people in our hobby that he really didn't know. Bruce, Bob's collection is impressive. I live just down the hill, so I've had the pleasure of wandering through his museum on many occasions. I've even had the opportunity to foster a couple of pieces before they made the journey up the hill. Bob Karen opened their home to OTAPS often and were gracious hosts.
