Re: [Phono-L] Union call for patients
Dear fellow hobbyists and colleagues, This is your yearly reminder not to forget to bring your wax recordings you desire to receive surgical intervention. Pits, cracks, multiple broken pieces and other conditions restored during Union at our normal location. As before, happy to rebuild, restore and re-wax a great number of different reproducers at our table for you as well. Just bring all the parts with you as I won't have all the various parts in stock with me. Many will be available from other dealers at the show. See you next weekend for another outstanding Union! I purchased 6 oxford cylinders on ebay, all were split down the middle, I thought it was just at the ends, are these repairable? On May 28, 2012 1:44 AM, Michael F. Re: [Phono-L] Union call for patients
Hello Randy, I can usually get these to track safely again if there is a canyon between the crack, but to get them back to their pre-split condition. I have not attained that as yet :-) A click in the playback will remain which is taken care of with the proper software of course. Thanks for your inquiry! Best :-) Michael On May 28, 2012, at 9:37 AM, Randy Larson larsont...@gmail.com wrote: I purchased 6 oxford cylinders on ebay, all were split down the middle, I thought it was just at the ends, are these repairable?
