[PHP-DB] PHP.ini file

Afternoon all.

I have a dev server using XAMPP, and am wondering if somone could
point how to add a custom php.ini file?

I have the ability to do this on the live server but am unsure how to
make this read on the dev server?

[PHP-DB] PHP4 vs PHP5

We have developed a software using PHP 4. Can Someone advise if it i run it
on PHP5 or keep using PHP4 or is there any need to re-write code for using
PHP5.
