What exactly does this mean, considering it's also in php4/ext/w32api?

My thoughts exactly..

Strange. I thought w32api is moved to PECL, since someone
is mentioned platform specific extension is better to be
located under PECL. And nobody objects. IIRC.

I guess only printer(?) extension was moved to PECL.
And someone forgot to move w32api to PECL?
Not a big deal, though.

Hello,

Are the W32api functions in the CVS will make it into the upcoming 4.2
release and if so will they be a part of the standard binaries distributed

Ive just rewritten these but havnt put them into CVS yet.. it uses OO and
allows passing byref although I havnt rewritten the runtimetypes yet.. if I
get this finished tonight tomorrow do you think its worth getting the
updated API into 4.2??

No, no new functionality in the branch. And w32api is in PECL CVS btw.

Well,

No... as the w32api functions are in PECL, not in CVS. And thus they wont
be in the standard binaries UNLESS somebody builds them. We need to figure
out something for this.
