How do i create a new mail account on a domain?

My domain is waveartists.com
and I wish to create a new mail account without using the server admin panel.
but rahter using a php script.

Do anyone know how to do this?

any help appreciated.

I have a Linux Server with PHP installed. that all i know..
imap and all the mail stuf are also installed but thats all i know..
