RE: [PHP] Homesite 5.0 and PHP
Chuck, I've been a Homesite zealot for several years now. I LOVE 4.5. 5.0 (at least the very first release of it) was a piece of crap. I crashed more than it ran on my Win98 box. I would install it on my new Win2k box (same box but I bit the bullet and bought the upgrade) but now I have to ask Macromedia's permission to do so. (Ya Reading this Macromedia? I won't ask your permission to reload my computer. I'll find a hacked copy first. I paid for use on one machine, why do you care if I unload and re-load on a weekly basis?) Anyhow, So I'm sticking with 4.5. If you can purchase a copy of 4.5, it too has color coded syntax for PHP (That's about all the support that I found in 5.0 also) and it rocks...as long as you don't try to use the FTP thingy...but that's another rant. =C= * * Cal Evans * Journeyman Programmer * Techno-Mage * http://www.calevans.com * -Original Message- From: Chuck "PUP" Payne [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, March 09, 2002 10:21 AM To: PHP General Subject: [PHP] Homesite 5.0 and PHP I am wanting to know is there any add-ons for Macromedia Homesite 5.0. What exactly are you looking for? I think that syntax coloring is automatic for any file with a .php file extension since Homesite 4. If you are looking for the PHP Manual formatted for HS or an expression builder, check out: http://www.wilk4.com/asp4hs/php4hs.htm HTH -jeff At 09:50 19/02/02 +0100, you wrote: >There was a plugin for homesite to work with PHP, >can somebody help me please? > >Jeroen -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php

Re: [PHP] Homesite & php
Yep, As far as I know, it's not recommended by Allaire themselves to use Design mode with PHP/ASP unless you want it to muck around with your code, only for pure HTML. Re: [PHP] Homesite & php
Hi, I'm using homesite 4.5.1 and I've not had the problem you describe. However, since I use a remote server, when I have a php page up, and go to design view, funny things do happen. I just don't go there anymore. [PHP] Homesite & php
Hi, Does the new version of homesite still have the same result with php. When I used to change anything in Design View and then went back to Edit View the ?> became ?>. Does this still happen??? RE: [PHP] Homesite - Windows and CVS
As far as I know there's no such application. We are using WinCVS for the same purpose. I would be interested if you come accross some application that would this though. oktay -Original Message- From: Michael Stearne [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, May 03, 2001 10:18 AM To: php-general Subject: [PHP] Homesite - Windows and CVS We are working on a project that is hosted on Linux, but the development is being done on Windows using Homesite. I have looked around but haven't found any real solutions with an IDE that can work directly with a remote CVS project like MacOS's Project Builder can for example. Are there any editors/IDEs or plugins for Homesite that will allow you to use CVS (or some other Unix/Linux based versioning system) directly through the editor without using WinCVS or some other manual system to check files in and out? I have looked at Zeus SCC-CVS that supposedly will get and SCC compliant app (Homesite) to work with CVS, but I get an error early on in the process and haven't gotten it to work. Any ideas?
