I have a small image resize function which works great on my local server as I have the gd2 library. It uses the imagecreatetruecolor function which makes the thumbnails look good, without it, they look bad. The problem is, my webhost is not going to upgrade to gd2 so....is there anyway I can pull out the necessary functions or do they require a certain php version?
