Up until picoLisp-3.0.2 I had also changed the complete reference
documenation to show transient symbols with u and /u. There were
complaints, however, that this makes copy/paste of the examples
difficult, so I reverted the reference to double quote display.

It seems not all underlined transient symbols have been reverted ...

Correct. However, this chapter needs the underlines, as it explains the
*Tsm variable and its behavior.

It is also not an example which is interesting for anybody to try it out
by copy/pasting.

Yes, this is a disputable case. It is not really an example like in the
references, but an explanation of the usage of transient symbols per se,
so showing it with the correct markup (underlined) is not wrong.

This whole TSM stuff seems a pandora's box ;-)
