[pinhole-discussion] Xerox photo transfers

2001-08-16 Thread Jon
Guillermo,

Check out Theresa Airey's book "Creative Photo Printmaking." She has a
chapter on using Xerox machines for doing transfers:

I'm glad you are working on this--would you maybe post a couple of pic's of
the modifications? I'd like to see them. I'm looking to add a 4x5 camera and
would like to have one that takes regular/Polaroid/roll film backs.

Very nice additions. Already checked the rest of your shots out before... I
really like your use of the paper negs. And I won't ever get tired of
looking at "Jump Off Rock, Laurel Park, NC." What a great shot!

[pinhole-discussion] Re: IR pinhole problems

2001-06-04 Thread Jon
Hi Jeff,

I'm the editor for the IR section at the Open Directory Project. There is
18 links for technique and 22 of IR photographers:

http://dmoz.org/Arts/Photography/Alternative/Infrared/

Here is the IR forum:

http://www.biphoto.com/ir/wwwboard.html

As Guy mentioned, WJ's is a good place to start:

http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mainpage.htm

There you can find info on the IR mailing list if you wish. He is a good
source for polyester Wratten 87c filter material (and others) for putting
the filter between the frame rails of a 35mm camera or in a pinhole.
