[pkg-go] Bug#848055: golang-github-go-chef-chef: FTBFS randomly (failing tests)
Control: severity -1 serious Re-raising the severity of this bug, since I encountered the random test failures today while working on updating another package that this one depends upon. Given there are currently no rdeps on this package itself, and that it was packaged to support packaging terraform (currently a RFP, see #808940), I would argue this package in its current state should be allowed to be removed from testing. [pkg-go] Bug#1028841: gopacket: FTBFS with libpcap >= 1.10.2
Control: retitle -1 gopacket: FTBFS with libpcap >= 1.10.2 Control: tags -1 + confirmed Control: forwarded -1 https://github.com/google/gopacket/issues/1088 It appears that libpcap 1.10.2 introduced some change that is causing the test failure. Manually downgrading to libpcap 1.10.1-4 from snapshot.d.o allows the build to succeed. I've opened an issue with the upstream project, as I don't possess the knowledge to properly fix this.
