The libtiff5-alt-dev package is a transitional package that is going
to disappear soon. Please update your build dependency from
libtiff5-alt-dev to libtiff-dev, which is now an alias to
libtiff5-dev. Also, if you had previously added lintian overrides for
the rpath error caused by linking with libtiff5-alt-dev, you can
remove that override now.

liblas bumped its SONAME and started a transition from liblas1 to
liblas2 and liblas-c2. The liblas1 package is no longer built by liblas.
python-liblas has a hardcoded dependency on liblas1 and needs to be
updated. Since python-liblas uses ctypes, it might be necessary to adopt
the code to be compatible with the new ABI.

USB 3.0 = Breakneck speeds

2014-02-21 Thread Speed by Sandberg

USB 3.0 = Breakneck speeds
The USB 3.0 card reader from Sandberg can operate up to ten times faster than
other well-known USB 2.0 card readers. You need a computer and memory card that
support USB 3.0. Once connected, it is an extremely quick way to transfer
photos, video and other data from a camera or mobile for example. And an
equally quick way to transfer MP3 music over to an MP3 player for example.

A top-quality aluminium finish provides the perfect experience. What’s more,
the card reader can read all types of card directly without needing to use an
adapter. It couldn’t be easier.

If you are running out of USB 3.0 ports then we also have a solution for that
too. Sandberg’s USB 3.0 Hub converts a single port to four and gives you the
option of supplying extra power by connecting the supplied power adapter. Each
port is also equipped with overload protection so you never run the risk of
damaging your computer’s USB 3.0 port.

There are many other competitive USB 3.0 products from Sandberg. Click here to
see an overview of the entire range.
 Remember: Choosing Sandberg
means choosing user-friendliness, high quality and a five-year warranty.

-To tag a release
+Tag a release

+ It's highly recommended to not tag a release before it's uploaded
+ to the archive.
+ Forcefully updating an existing tag for changes made before the
+ actual upload is not desirable, especially when the tag is
signed.
+
+
+ To tag a release using the version from latest entry in
+ debian/changelog
+ you can use:

-git tag debian/x.y-z.
+debcommit -a -r

+ The -a is used commit all changed files,
+ and not only tag the release.

- You can also easily retroactively make tags:
+ You can also tag a specific distribution and/or version using:

-git tag debian/x.y-z

+git tag
/

- Remember to push the new tags.
+
+
+ To tag a release using a specific commit instead of the most
+ recent in the current branch use:
+
+git tag debian/x.y-z

+
+
+
+ Remember to push the new tags:

 git push --tags
