Bug#460152: bouncycastle_1.38-1(m68k/unstable/poseidon): FTBFS, use gcj-4.2 on m68k?

Bug#459281: Bug 459281
Quick update: I didn't get a chance to build a recent GNU Classpath-based runtime, but one I have lying around from the middle of last year seems to run your test app against JFreeChart 1.0.9 just fine. This suggests that the problem is likely to be a regression in GNU Classpath...I'm short on time to investigate further, but I will try to get back to this, though. Bug#458895: maven2: commons-cli.jar is the culprit
Paul Cager wrote: Mike Paul wrote: Package: maven2 Version: 2.0.8-3 Followup-For: Bug #458895 [...] It turns out that /usr/share/maven2/lib/commons-cli.jar is the one that makes the difference: if I copy that jar into a freshly-unpacked copy of Apache's Maven distribution, the problem occurs there too. [...] It would seem that this behaviour relies on Maven using an old version of commons-cli. I'll investigate further. [...] I've not had time to fix this problem yet, so I thought I'd just let you know what's happening. The problem happens because of a change introduced in commons-cli 1.1, which is described in http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLI-137 Although the change has destroyed backwards compatibility (and I don't like that), the new behaviour agrees with cli's API specification. So I think we should call this a bug in Maven which just happens to be harmless with cli version 1.0. I'll prepare a new revision of the maven2 Debian package with Maven's calls to commons.cli patched, and send the bug upstream to the Maven developers (although they still use cli version 1.0). It'll probably take a few days as I want to give it a good test. Problem debugging starting debug function in eclipse using Java
Hi, I am writing to this group because I have a problem using eclipse on Linux (version 2.6.18-5-amd64 #1 SMP x86_64). I installed the j2sdk1.5-sun and latter the eclipse using the aptitude install eclipse. Java alternatives installed in my machine: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/lib/java# update-alternatives --config java Seleção Alternativa --- 1/usr/bin/gij-wrapper-4.1 * 2/usr/lib/j2sdk1.5-sun/bin/java +3/usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/jre/bin/java Everything was going fine until I realized that the debug functionality does not work, I mean it's not possible go step by step through the code. I have searched the web looking for some tip regarding how to solve this issue but unfortunately I couldn't find. It was a surprise to realize that this functionality (debugging) is not working fine after the installation had finished. Can you help me or give me any directions concerning how to solve this issue? Hope you can help me. Regards, Erik Rafael P.S:.
