Bug#505366: Also causes FTBFS
severity 505366 important thanks Since the problem is in an exported header, this bug causes other packages (e.g. nco) to fail to build. But only with gcc 4.4, so this is post-lenny. -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ ___ pkg-java-maintainers mailing list pkg-java-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-java-maintainers
Bug#505366: FTBFS with GCC 4.4: missing #include
Package: antlr Version: 2.7.7-9 User: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Usertags: ftbfs-gcc-4.4 Tags: patch Your package fails to build with the upcoming GCC 4.4. Version 4.4 has not been released yet but I'm building with a snapshot in order to find errors and give people an advance warning. GCC 4.4 cleaned up some more C++ headers. You always have to #include headers directly and cannot rely for things to be included indirectly. You can reproduce this problem with gcc-snapshot from unstable. > Automatic build of antlr_2.7.7-9 on em64t by sbuild/amd64 0.53 ... > *** compiling > /build/tbm/antlr-2.7.7/lib/cpp/src/../../../lib/cpp/src/CharScanner.cpp > In file included from > /build/tbm/antlr-2.7.7/lib/cpp/src/../../../lib/cpp/src/CharScanner.cpp:10: > /build/tbm/antlr-2.7.7/scripts/../lib/cpp/antlr/CharScanner.hpp:475: error: > 'EOF' was not declared in this scope --- lib/cpp/antlr/CharScanner.hpp~ 2008-11-11 21:24:02.0 + +++ lib/cpp/antlr/CharScanner.hpp 2008-11-11 21:24:33.0 + @@ -10,6 +10,7 @@ #include +#include #include #ifdef HAS_NOT_CCTYPE_H -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ ___ pkg-java-maintainers mailing list pkg-java-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-java-maintainers
Bug#505321: Please remove package from archive
Package: libjaxp1.2-java Please remove the package from repositories for following reasons. 1. There are no rdepends on this package except libjaxp1.2-java-gcj which is created from same source. 2. Even the libjaxp1.3-java has got 'End Of Life' since Februrary 2008. [1] So there is no point keeping 1.2 around.
