Bug#802356: Latest version (1.8.11) fails to build

2015-11-05 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi again,

Emmanuel Bourg has kindly packaged sequence-library version 1.0.3 and
this is used now in the build (see full build log attached to this
mail).

On Wed, Nov 04, 2015 at 03:29:03PM +0100, TMate Software Support wrote:

Unfortunately there are new errors now - actually these are not new but
perfectly identical to the one reported in Debian bug #802356:

[javac] Compiling 31 source files to
/tmp/buildd/svnkit-1.8.11/svnkit-javahl16/bin

So while I hoped that the new svnkit version would solve the existing
issue it is now back after settling with the new needed dependencies.

Sorry, I have no idea how to go further from here but at least I've
forwarded the issue.

Kind regards

   Andreas.

Bug#804156: warrant (restrictive) http*_proxy env variables

2015-11-05 Thread Emmanuel Bourg
Hi Yaroslav,

You have to add the --offline parameter when invoking gradle to prevent
it from downloading stuff. If you use gradle-debian-helper this is done
automatically.

It is quite often desired to restrict access to network and it is common to do

Hi Markus

thank you for your quick reply! RTFMing helped to discover the
--offline for gradle so I could satisfy my needs. thanks! I guess I
will just close this issue for now with that

Hi,

this is explained in Gradle's online manual at

https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/build_environment.html

You have to pass the proxy values to the JVM or you can edit
gradle.properties accordingly. The version of gradle in Debian also
prevents projects from downloading anything from the web, if you use
