Thanks you! I subscribed to pkg-clojure-maintainers, now that I know
of it.

Hi Manuel,

Work has started to bring Leiningen 2.x to Debian, see:

http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-clojure-maintainers/Week-of-Mon-20130422/06.html

You can contact babilen on IRC for more information.

I'm behind with my mailing list reading, so sorry if this was already
discussed:

Are there any plans to bring Leiningen 2.x to Debian? The 1.x series
is unsupported upstream, and 2.2 just came out a week ago, fixing
several dependency handling bugs.

I unfortunately have very little free time at hand. If that clears up
(end of summer), I'd like to get more involved in Clojure packaging.
Is there a seperate team for that or will it be done by the Java team?

Best regards,

  Manuel

Uploaded after verifying that lein-clojars still builds with the latest
leiningen.

Cheers,

Hello,

I fixed the bug in leiningen and commited the changes to its VCS, but the
package is currently waiting on mentors [0] for a sponsor.

Bug#684022: leiningen: Transition package to use default java implementation.

2012-08-06 Thread James Page
Package: leiningen
Version: 1.7.1-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

Dear Maintainer,

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

  * Transition package to use default java implementation:
- d/control: BD on default-jdk, switch runtime dependency to
  default-jre | java6-runtime.

Ubuntu is transitioning from openjdk-6 to openjdk-7 as default java; this patch
eases the transition (and future transitions). Note that this transition is not
a wheezy release goal.

Thanks for considering the patch.
